SARAH LOUIS-JEAN'S STORY
Born in Montreal, Canada, Sarah Louis-Jean is a professional contemporary circus artist specialized in Boleadoras. Her World reknowned achievements is holding the first Guinness World Records of the quickest Boleadoras hits in the World and one of the rare boleadoras female solo artist.

Boleadoras is a unique rhythmical percussive manipulation ground floor act. Two small balls attached to a cord are swung around the body and create percussions while hitting the floor. She has developed a contemporary unique feminine style of boleadoras in the World combining flexibility, manipulation, dance and percussion that is far from the traditional gaucho way.
Sarah started dance at the young age of 3. She trained in various dance styles in various schools and graduated from the National Circus School of Montreal in Canada specialized in boleadoras instruction. She trained boleadoras with Cirque du Soleil dancers and later worked for Cirque du Soleil as a Boleadoras performer and an Artistic Director.
She performed on the 5 continents with Céline Dion, Cirque Eloize, Circus Roncalli, KrystallPalast, GOP Show Concept, Hansa Theater, Best of Broadway, Olympic Opening Ceremonies, Dracula's Cabaret (Australia), etc. She worked in research and creation with the 7 fingers and appeared on So You Think You Can Dance Canada and various tv shows, movies and commercials. She is also a creative producer, singer, and actress.
Her artistic approach involves showing the fierceness, manipulation, character work, dance in an intense unique contemporary way through movement and rhythms.
