What is boleadoras?
Instrument used to hunt animals consisting of two or three balls of stone or other heavy material, lined with leather and tied to two ropes joined by a common rope.
The city of Santiago del Estero in Argentina is known as a region where several renowned folkloric dancers and musicians started.
Around 1950, Santiago Ayala we call El Chucaro had the idea of mixing boleadoras and percussion.

Coming from a dancing background and passionate about manipulation. Although boleadoras is a priori a percussion instrument, Sarah decided to create my own style and mixing a cabaret way and many tricks in a non folkloric traditional way.
